Kelly Darling

I am a second year student currently studying at San Francisco Art Institute majoring in Design & Technology. Born in 1990, originally from Boston, MA. I love to think up crazy new projects, daydream, play the piano, read books on rainy days, bake cookies, go to aquariums & museums, paint, photograph, design, tell stories, and generally do my best to disturb the universe (in a good way). 

The Art

Though my main focus and passion resides in design, I often work in other mediums including painting, drawing, photography and installation. Her current work focuses on encapsulating the feminine feminine form in all mediums, flowers and plants, the differences among the coasts, and finding ways to capture fleeting moments of beauty in life.

Through this blog I hope to inspire like-minded artists, and provide interesting snippets from my life as a student living 3000 miles from home. This site also includes a full portfolio of all my work to date, a shop where you can order my prints, links to my various other projects, and numerous ways to get in contact with me. I bought this domain in November 2007 to be used as a personal portfolio, now you see it in its current blog format.
