Well okay, so weekly digs and things I love are awfully similar, but weekly digs focuses more on news articles, and well… I don’t care, here is some great stuff in this weeks news.
1.
2. 50 Beautiful Long Exposure Pictures.
3. 1000 year human life span? Pretty crazy.
4. Little known but useful HTML tags.
5. 30 Photoshop video tutorials.
6. Best ghost pictures ever taken!
I’ve been neglecting this poor little blog, but its not my fault, I swear! It was my birthday, on the 10th, then I flew home to spend a few days in MA, flew back, and naturally got really horrendous sick with some sort of flu for like a week. After that I’ve been swimming under a sea of school work and projects. So its been hard to find time to blog! Here are some things that I love lately!
First and foremost…I’m going to Disneyland!!! On April 11th as a late birthday present! I am so so SO excited.
Sunshine Cleaning…I can not wait to see this!
This super zen game thingy.
This is pretty beautiful, however I don’t really like the music they use, try syncing it up with “The Young Machines” by Her Space Holiday, much better!!!
How insanely beautiful does this look? This is Holi, the festival of colors in India, you can see more images here. Or learn more about it here. I really want to travel through India someday, and this is something I definitely want to see in my lifetime!!
Greece, seriously, I know I wont come into any money, but if I did and I could travel this summer, I would want to go to Greece, it just looks so beautiful!
Text based art and posters…some great inspiration can be found here. I am getting some great ideas for some new typography and text based art!
Angel Island is the bigger of the two bay islands, located right behind Alcatraz. Probably most well known for being the “Ellis Island of the west”, as well as a military fortress and Nike missile site. There are countless sites you can google if you want more historical info, but I wont bore you with that. I’ve been to the island twice now, there are few people on the island and the walk all the way around is about 5 or 6 miles. The second time I went was on Valentines day, we hiked around the whole island, and saw some breath taking scenery. Its deffinetly worth a visit, there are tons of old buildings and amazing views, but be cautioned that it is an all day trip, the boat there leaves at 10:30am and the boat home doesn’t come until around 3:50 (I think the times change somtimes but I’m not sure?). Heres a slide show of my photos from the day.
School this semester is hectic, I have class at 9am everyday and apparently all my teachers want to load on the work, in an the midst of school work I had to move rooms, but I actually like my new room a lot its very cozy and I have it all to myself.
Meet my new home base.
